Eleventh annual event features actor and philanthropist Kevin Bacon plus a compelling lineup of thought leaders addressing health cost drivers, health navigation, advocacy and equity, employee engagement, women’s health, and more

Providence, R.I., March 12, 2024 – In its first major event since unveiling its new brand, Personify Health will soon be hosting Thrive Summit 2024. The company – a result of the merger of Virgin Pulse and HealthComp – will bring together more than 1,000 health, wellbeing, and business leaders in-person and virtually to address issues critical to their organization and their people. It will feature actor and philanthropist Kevin Bacon, a lineup of thought-provoking sessions, and engagement opportunities – while also immersing clients in the new Personify Health brand and personalized health platform for the first time.

“Similar to Personify Health, the Thrive Summit is all about engaging experiences, empowering people, and paving the new way to better health. And better health means better business,” said Chris Michalak, CEO of Personify Health. “Thrive Summit has proven itself to be a highlight of the year for so many, including me. I love being able to meet with our clients and partners during Thrive and hear more about the challenges we’re helping them solve. For these companies, health and wellbeing is a business priority, not a box to check.”

This year’s Thrive Summit is April 9-11 in Atlanta, Georgia, with a live streaming option for virtual attendees. With the theme of “all together now,” Thrive Summit 2024 is bringing together the entire health ecosystem to drive action and define the future of health. The event’s dynamic presentations, peer learning, interactive workshops, and wellbeing activities are designed to stimulate learning and discussion, while also providing opportunities for attendees to connect and collaborate.

Compelling Mainstage Speakers to Address Top-of-Mind Health & Wellbeing Topics

This year’s Thrive Summit features a range of renowned and insightful presenters addressing topics critical for businesses to be successful, competitive, and well-regarded. The event’s featured keynote speaker is actor, musician, and philanthropist Kevin Bacon, whose SixDegrees non-profit supports issues and initiatives that sustain and enrich communities. Drawing from the concept of “Six Degrees of Separation,” Bacon underscores the transformative effects of empathy, understanding, and genuine human connection in interpersonal relationships, societal changes, and personal growth.

“In today’s world, we’re all so busy and spend so much time staring at screens that it’s easy to forget about some of the cornerstones for thriving as human beings – connection with others, and having compassion,” said Kevin Bacon. “It’s important to remind ourselves that the things we do have an impact down the street and across the globe. I’m passionate about sharing that message and helping more people approach life – and each other – with greater empathy and willingness to connect.”
