Personify Health Expands Leadership Team, Doubling Down on Innovation, Client Success, and Strategic Growth Opportunities 

New hires and appointments boost expertise and demonstrate commitment to excellence for the industry’s first personalized health platform company 

PROVIDENCE, R.I. and FRESNO, Calif., March 7, 2024Personify Health today announced new additions to its extended leadership team, powering the company’s mission to engage and empower people to lead healthier lives. These new appointments will drive client success and growth, propel technology and artificial intelligence (AI) innovation, and accelerate strategic growth in support of achieving the new brand’s goal of impacting 40 million members by 2027.

Unifying Executive Team Leadership 

Personify Health is the result of the recent merger of Virgin Pulse and HealthComp. As part of its executive leadership team, the company has named Richard Boylan president and chief operating officer for Personify Health. Previously COO for Virgin Pulse and a member of its founding leadership team, he now oversees all company operations, including client success, member and clinical services, implementation, quality control, intelligent automation, and data operations. Other executive appointments include Andrew Boyd as chief transformation officer and Justin Tran as chief strategy officer. 

Investing in Continued Innovation 

An end-to-end health experience requires a platform that brings everything together seamlessly. Personify Health’s personalized health platform engages members with targeted, individualized health content and recommendations that drive better health outcomes and a 50% average engagement rate. With a data-driven approach, the platform leverages insights from 275 million consumers and more than 800 predictive models to drive personalization.  

To support further innovation, Personify has earmarked $80 million for research and development in 2024. The company also continues to invest in generative and conversational AI, recently launching AI chatbot support to bolster its Member Services team. The chatbot has made critical productivity improvements, handling 100% of contacts as-of January 2024 and supporting millions of users on the platform daily. Building on this, Personify is investing in experienced talent to lead the way including: 

  • David Slazyk, Chief Information Officer: David joins Personify Health from his previous role as chief information and security officer at NextGen Healthcare. In his new role, Slazyk will lead concentrated efforts of integration and enablement to harmonize IT processes and structures post-merger, in addition to maintaining platform stability, scalability, and security, and cultivating a culture of innovation.  
  • Jaimie Fucillo, Vice President, Partner Ecosystem: Jaimie joined Personify Health to lead its partner ecosystem strategy and development. Connecting solutions so clients don’t have to, the partner ecosystem is integrated within the Personify Health platform, providing members with seamless access to a wide range of high-demand health and wellbeing categories. Jaimie previously held leadership roles at Mindbody and Genentech.

New appointees leading the effort include:  

  • Kacey Rasmussen, Senior Vice President, Health Sales: Kacey Rasmussen has stepped into this newly created position leading Personify’s new health plan administration sales team where she’s responsible for driving revenue growth of the company’s health plan administration business. Rasmussen has more than 25 years of experience in commercial leadership, population health strategy, data analytics, communications strategy, and client management.  
  • Jason Herr, Senior Vice President, Health Plans: Jason Herr is focused on service delivery with strong operational controls for Personify’s health plan audience, ensuring an exceptional member experience while controlling client costs. He was previously with Alight Solutions and joins Personify with more than 25 years of experience in health and benefits strategic operations.  
  • Karin Bultman, Vice President, Health and Navigation Solutions: Karin Bultman leads product strategy for Personify’s health and benefits navigation solutions, bringing together Virgin Pulse and HealthComp capabilities for a comprehensive navigation offering that delivers outcomes for clients and members. She has 20 years of experience in the health industry, including roles with Quantum Health, RedBrick Health (acquired by Virgin Pulse), and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota. 
  • Katy Guilfoile, Vice President, Client Success: With more than 20 years of experience across healthcare services, health plan financing, navigation, and wellbeing, Katy Guilfoile has a track record of delivering client results. At Personify, she leads a team focused on delivering an exceptional client experience by understanding client objectives and recommending solutions that help them achieve their goals.
