Who are you?

 

As Senior Analytics Developer and Analyst, you will be a critical part of our Analytics & Insights group at Personify. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as experience in developing and maintaining standard, ad hoc, and custom dashboards across various reporting tools. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and analyzing both internal and external reporting, as well as working with our team of analysts and decision makers in the organization to create insightful and user-friendly dashboards and applications.

 

In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:  

  • Develop and maintain standard and customized reports across multiple business areas for use by client success teams, operations, senior management, etc.
  • Understanding of how data is integrated from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements.
  • Interpret data and apply business concepts to analyze results and provide value-add insights, such as determining operational impact, trends, and/or opportunities.
  • Identify and execute process improvements to increase operational and reporting efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot data integrity issues and seek out back-end improvements.
  • Maintain scheduling for dataset refreshes and reporting send outs.
  • Translate stakeholders’ requirements into reporting deliverables.
  • Assist analyst team with dashboard and report generation.
  • Provide recommendations based on data analysis findings.
  • Manage and support business partners, Account Managers, and clients’ relationships as it relates to utilization and clinical reporting data.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, or other coding skills
    Effective time management skills and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Ability to utilize critical thinking, exhibit problem solving capabilities, and demonstrate learning agility.
  • Is generally assigned more complex and difficult assignments.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to build analytical and decision support models, synthesize recommendations, and create effective presentations.

What you bring to the Personify Health team:

 

In order to represent the best of what we have to offer you come to us with a multitude of positive attributes including:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a major or concentration in business management, accounting, finance, or another relevant field of study
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools with development/analytical experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with SQL querying on any data platform required.

You also take pride in offering the following Core Skills, Competencies, and Characteristics:

  • Healthcare claims experience, preferably TPA Self-Funding Reporting
  • Development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and Apps.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience working with MS SQL Server and/or Snowflake strongly preferred.
  • Possesses an innate curiosity for using various data sources to answer key business questions.
  • Has the ability to lead diverse stakeholders through the process of defining business questions and translating them into usable visualizations or output for timely decision making.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and change management skills.
  • Collaborates effectively within a small team while also demonstrating the ability to independently initiate and lead projects or work threads with confidence.

In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $83,200 to $104,000 annually. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for health, dental, vision, mental health and other benefits.
