In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:  

  • Leader of strategic and operational decisions. 
  • Focus on operational efficiency and long-term thinking. 
  • Work with engineering teams to plan upcoming projects, coordinate with operations, support, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth delivery. 
  • Lead efforts to resolve issues across product delivery team. 
  • Engage in Scrum team meetings to ensure work is consistently sequenced, digested and completed at a reasonable velocity. 
  • Collaborate on software architecture solutions. 
  • Excellent communicator across product delivery teams

What you bring to the Personify Health team

In order to represent the best of what we have to offer you come to us with a multitude of positive attributes including:

Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience 
  • 3+ years of experience leading and mentoring software developers. 
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, preferably in C# or C++ / .NET, Angular 
  • 5+ years of experience in SQL development, including developing SQL queries, designing tables, stored procedures, indexes, views, functions, and performance tuning. 
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud service platform solutions strongly preferred. 
  • 5+ years of experience working in an Agile environment strongly preferred. 
  • Preferred experience in health insurance industry 

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 

  • Experience in Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, SSIS and SSRS 
  • Experience with RESTful services (such as Azure Function Apps) and consuming or implementing APIs. 
  • Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies to support Agile planning and work estimation. 
  • Experience with unit testing, integration testing and code tuning. 
  • Experience with distributed source code control (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket) 
  • Knowledge of agile software development suite of tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.) 
  • Proficiency with relational databases including writing stored procedures and queries. 
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions within department and company guidelines. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Highly organized professional with strong project management and prioritization skills

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. 
  • The person in this job needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access office machinery, file cabinets and meeting facilities. 
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as copy and fax machine, computer printer, calculator, etc. 
  • Frequently positions self to maintain files in file cabinets. 
  • Frequently moves boxes or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds. 
  • Must have the ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. 
  • Must have the ability to observe details at close range.

In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $125,000 to $170,000.00. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for  health, dental, vision, mental health and other benefits.
