Who are you?

 

As Business Intelligence Developer, you will be a critical part of our Analytics & Insights group at Personify. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as experience in developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and applications among potential other reporting tools. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our reporting environment, as well as working with our team of analysts and decision makers in the organization to create insightful and user-friendly dashboards and applications.

 

In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:  

  • Develop and maintain our Power BI environment, including data models, dashboards, reports, and Apps.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (management and executive teams) across Operations, Finance, Client Success departments, as well as our team of analysts, to develop intuitive and user-friendly dashboards and applications that provide actionable insights.
  • Develop strong partnership within the IT department to ensure proper data engineer and architect support.
  • Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
  • Construct and manage data relationships between various data sources to ensure efficient data modeling and structuring.
  • Analyze and understand business requirements in context to reporting and analytics.
  • Assists in developing standards and best practices for report and application design, guidelines and data integrity
  • Demonstrate expertise in implementing and managing Power BI application security following best practices.
  • Stay up to date on the latest Power BI features and functionality.
  • Is generally assigned more complex and difficult assignments.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to build analytical and decision support models, synthesize recommendations, and create effective presentations

What you bring to the Personify Health team:

 

In order to represent the best of what we have to offer you come to us with a multitude of positive attributes including:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a business, scientific or related field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, Engineering, finance, etc.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools with development/analytical experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with SQL querying on any data platform required.

You also take pride in offering the following Core Skills, Competencies, and Characteristics:

  • Development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and Apps. Healthcare focus with this experience is a plus.
  • Ability to connect, combine and use non aggregated data from various external sources (APIs, SQL, Storage, Sharepoint etc.) for creating usable analytics models in PowerBI.
  • Experience with Administration of Enterprise PowerBI environment and working with PowerBI Premium Capacity environment is a plus.
  • Writing DAX queries.
  • Use of Power Query for transformations and data shaping.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience working with MS SQL Server and/or Snowflake strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting for data manipulation and automation tasks preferred.
  • Possesses an innate curiosity for using various data sources to answer key business and clinical questions
  • Has the ability to lead diverse stakeholders through the process of defining business questions and translating them into user-centered design solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and change management skills
  • Collaborates effectively within a small team while also demonstrating the ability to independently initiate and lead projects or work threads with confidence.

In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 - $100,000 annually. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for health, dental, vision, mental health and other benefits.
