The Sr. HR Business Partner (HRBP) is a critical “role up your sleeves” member of our People team dedicated to supporting the growth and success of the business and our people.
The right person for this role is a results-oriented business partner who happens to have a broad generalist background in talent development, culture, change leadership, driving business performance, succession planning and talent review, who thinks like a businessperson and acts like an owner – because at Virgin Pulse, the HRBP is the right-hand partner to our Executive Leadership Team. Reporting to the Director, HRBP, the HRBP role requires a highly energetic, super positive, growth-minded HR professional who loves engaging with our people and brings a big personality and a big passion for changing healthcare.
  

In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:  

  • Partner with ELT on people-related strategies, and design and deliver people plans that improve effectiveness, anticipate hiring and development needs and help achieve overall business goals.
  • Establish a deep understanding of our values and mission and help to advise the evolution of our culture and dispersed workforce.
  • Collaborate across People teams (JEDI, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Total Rewards, People Operations, etc.) to deploy timely, effective, and scalable programs to grow the business.
  • Lead our HR programs that support strategic objectives and drive employee engagement & retention.
  • Proactively advise leaders in employee life-cycle areas such as hiring, promotions, performance management, and terminations.
  • Utilize data to help inform guidance around people and organizational strategies.
  • Lead manager partnerships through review processes including competency-based performance calibrations, org planning, individual development plans, and compensation alignment.
  • Partner closely with business leaders on change management to develop consistent strategies and tactics to help leaders manage change.
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure training and career development needs are met.
  • Hands-on approach to monitor and influence the "pulse" of the organization to ensure a high level of employee engagement and retention.
  • Manage a high-volume workload and not be afraid to "roll up your sleeves" or push-back on initiatives for thoughtful and strategic planning, scaling for size.

What you bring to the Personify Health team:

In order to represent the best of what we have to offer you come to us with a multitude of positive attributes including:

  • Bachelors Degree; MBA appreciated
  • 7+years of experience of working as a strategic partner to Executive Leaders Teams. 
  • PHR or SPHR highly preferred but not required.  
  • Strong communication skills, work ethic, passion for learning, resilience, self motivation, problem solving capabilities
  • Experience in influencing and leading through change within a fast paced, geographically dispersed organization, with rapidly shifting goals required
  • Proactive leader with an agile mindset and an eagerness to lead transformation
  • Extensive knowledge of HR strategies & programs, including but not limited to leadership coaching, employee engagement, DEI&B, organizational design, compensation, workforce planning, policies & compliance, talent development and change management.

In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $96,000-$110,000. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for 10% corporate annual bonus as well as health, dental, vision, mental health and other benefits.
