Who are you?

In the role of Strategic Account Executive, your primary responsibility is to drive annual revenue growth through renewal of existing contracts and expansion of additional populations/lines of business, products and services; the portfolio is focused on current Health Plan Administration clients (i.e. TPA, benefits administration, stoploss, payment integrity, analytics, clinical care management). Annual revenue growth goals determined annually by Personify Health Leadership.

 

In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:  

 

To fulfill your responsibility, you will be held accountable for the following:

  • Build rapport and establish credibility with account stakeholders at all levels of the client organization through consistent executive presence, depth of domain knowledge and diligent preparation.
  • Proactively identify and understand client objectives, challenges and leadership priorities, confidence in regulatory issues that affect benefit plans, uncover barriers and develop actionable, client specific strategic plans to ensure.
  • Personify Health is aligned to support and maximize client satisfaction, success and ROI.
  • Ownership of reliable revenue and expansion targets that translate your deep relationships into material value and ARR growth. This includes supporting all aspects of complex renewals and expansion sales efforts, including Salesforce pipeline management, RFP proposal, negotiations and contract oversight.
  • Support positive client satisfaction and provide oversight for any proactive action plans required to maintain positive scores and secure reference ability for your clients.
  • Development and delivery of presentations supporting primary responsibilities; business reviews including deriving insights from data and helping clients plan future direction with insights into their health claims, executive reporting and strategic planning, product capability and roadmap overviews, research and thought-leadership presentations.
  • Monitor and confirm all client contractual obligations are being met and communicate any contractual risks to appropriate Personify Health management.
  • Ongoing and consistent leadership and internal stakeholder communications regarding client feedback, status and strategic action plans for your book of business.

Understands the origin and reasoning behind key policies, practices, and procedures; understands the cultures of organizations. Relates well to people and can effectively navigate through an organization.
  • Health Domain Knowledge: Demonstrates a knowledge of the US and/or Global healthcare ecosystem and employer sponsored coverages. Able to develop and make connections between broader healthcare strategies and health and wellbeing strategies.

 Education and Experience

 

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related discipline
8+ years’ experience of sales and/or client success roles in health insurance, employee benefits, healthcare industry or related field
TPA experience
Solid understanding of employee benefits and managed care products, self-funded business and the labor community, pharmacy and stop loss underwriting and pricing disciplines.
Proven to develop and maintain a high level of expertise in account service/consultative selling techniques, product knowledge, procedures, and administration
Proven ability to handle complex situations, deliver renewals, increase lines of business on existing clients
Direct experience with client management, benefits strategy management, data-analytics, health promotion research or related sales experience required
Excellent knowledge and skill using Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce

In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from [$100,000 to $120,000]. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for [15%] target bonus/variable compensation as well as health, dental, vision, mental health and other benefits.
