Who are you?

Due to the strong growth of our business we are seeking a Regional Vice President to join our health plan team. Reporting to the EVP, General Manager for the health plan and health system markets, the Regional Vice President is accountable for driving the achievement of sales and revenue goals of the organization through his/her own direct sales efforts. ?We are seeking a highly motivated individual that will be expected to quickly learn the Virgin Pulse product offering and strategy, while leveraging previous sales experience to drive forward customer development and generate new revenue.


In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:  

  • Experienced sales professional that has been accountable for over $3M in annual individual quota achievement that has C-level contacts at health plans across the
    U.S. including national, regional and blues
  • Direct selling responsibility for large, complex 6 and 7 figure deals
  • Ability to understand the business challenges our prospects are facing and align these challenges to the capabilities of our products and services
  • Experience selling enterprise products/services with a focus on value-based selling methodologies
  • Adept and consistent in using and Microsoft Office applications
  • Internet and research savvy using online resources such as LinkedIn, Hoovers and 6Sense to identify contacts within target companies.
  • Strong customer understanding and range between core job deliverables to solving business problems. Must quickly assess a business situation or scenario and quickly develop and drive plans to address challenges or capture opportunities.
  • Willingness to accept and contribute new ideas, and adapt to a rapidly changing environment
  • Provides leadership and best practice knowledgeshare to team
  • Financial modeling and ability to present overviews of sales pursuits and forecasting
    to sales leadership

What you bring to the Virgin Pulse team

In order to represent the best of what we have to offer you come to us with a multitude of positive attributes including:

  • 10+ years of related experience?
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel 40-60+%
  • Proven track record in achieving and exceeding individual annual quota
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team as needed and to define strategy and tactics in pursuit of complex sales
  • Proven experience managing a complex sales cycle and selling to multiple levels within mid-sized and large enterprise organizations.?
  • Ability to draft and maintain effective account and territory plans
  • Proven relationship management skills and have experience with extensive account follow-up with prospects in large cross-matrixed environments.
  • Demonstrated sales track record in highly competitive environments with the ability to qualify opportunities, obtain customer commitments, and negotiate and close
  • Minimum of 5 years experience selling into health plans; multi-line of business experience is preferred
