Join Us For Thrive Summit and Expect the Unexpected
April 7, 2016 / Employee Engagement
Now if you’re like me, that statement filled you with cheer (one last snowboarding run, anyone?). But I realize others may not share my enthusiasm for the latest weather conditions. And for those still contemplating whether or not to join us for Thrive Summit 2016 less than five weeks away, I say this: Don’t let a little snow make you a no-show for the biggest conference on employee wellbeing.
Having grown up here, I’ve come to expect the unexpected when it comes to New England weather. I’d like to think you can do the same for this year’s Thrive Summit, too. No, I’m not saying bring a shovel with you (maybe boots though?). But definitely come along with an open mind and willingness to learn about the evolving state of today’s workplace.
How else can you expect the unexpected at Thrive Summit?
Our speakers: From overcoming personal tragedy to leading organizations to new heights, our keynote speakers’ stories aren’t just about about expecting the unexpected, but inspirational tales of powering through when the unexpected occurs.
We’re pleased to welcome this year’s keynotes: Cameron Herold, author, entrepreneurial guru, and former COO of 1-800-GOT-JUNK?; Devon Still, National Football League defensive tackle and proud father of cancer survivor, Leah Still; and Patty McCord, advisor on culture & leadership, former Chief People Officer at Netflix, co-creator of the Netflix Culture Deck. See our full conference agenda.
Our breakout sessions and workshops: You never know who you’ll meet and what you’ll learn. With three days’ worth of breakout sessions and workshops, you’ll have the chance to network with other HR professionals, learn from industry experts and discuss wellbeing best practices with members of the Virgin Pulse team and our customers.
Our activities: You’re not coming to Thrive Summit just to sit around, after all. While you’re here, why not exercise your body and mind? Join us for morning fitness activities including walks, runs and meditation or maybe even get a quick massage. Get out and explore the great city of Boston, too!
Our cocktail party: You want unexpected? Just wait til the dancing picks up. I won’t name any names.
